Ministries

In 2011 Fairview began an after school Bible club entitled, The Good News Club. The Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in which trained volunteers meet with groups of children at Cloverleaf Elementary School. Each week volunteers love on the children at Cloverleaf Elementary, developing a connection with each student based on love and trust. As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

Here at Fairview Baptist Church, our purpose is to make disciples who make disciples. In other words, everything we do is focused on connecting students with Christ, building them up in their faith, and sending them out to follow Christ publicly. Our events include opportunities for fun and fellowship while also providing biblically sound teaching that is applicable to all students today. Adult leadership is invested and seriously cares for our students and their families. Our regularly scheduled gatherings are at 6:00pm on Sunday and Wednesday nights, with Sunday school starting at 9:15am on Sunday mornings.

Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him.

At Fairview Baptist Church, we love all children and want to introduce them to the One who loves them even more - Jesus Christ. It is our desire to assist parents in growing children into Christian adults who have a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord and equip children with the tools necessary to help them grow spiritually. Our purposeful Bible teaching and fun fellowship opportunities offer children a beginning to a firm foundation in Jesus while having a ton of fun along the way!

Our goal within the music ministry, as well as all our ministries, is threefold: to exalt the Savior, to evangelize the lost, and to encourage the saints. God can use music to do all three. We have a cherished privilege every Sunday morning and evening to lead others in celebrating the gospel of Jesus Christ through the reading of scripture, prayer and song.

You are invited to come and be a part of the Fairview Worship Choir. There are no try-outs and even musical experience is not a prerequisite. You just need to be a believer in Christ who wants to praise the Lord with a joyful heart.
