We believe that we are called to reach out to our neighbors both locally and globally and serve them in ways that make a difference. We believe that spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, participating in small groups, and tithing are vital to our faith.

What Should I Expect? Fairview Baptist is a church that loves God, loves others and wants to reach the world for Christ. We hold to the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message, partnering with the Southern Baptist Convention, the North Carolina Baptist State Convention and our local South Yadkin Baptist Association.
When Do I Come? Our Sunday morning service time is at 10:30am. We have parking spaces up front just for our visitors. As you come in, our friendly greeters will direct you to the worship center. We would love to have you for our Sunday School hour starting at 9:15am. There is a place for every age from babies to senior adults. This is the place where you really get connected at Fairview.
What Do I Bring? If you have a Bible, we want you to bring it! Our pastor provides Bible-centered teaching and preaching each week, and bringing your own Bible will help you to follow along. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE, there is one in the pew for your convenience, because we want you to know more about what God has to say to you!
What Do I Wear? Some of our people do wear suits, ties and dresses, but most folks wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. You wear what you have and come expecting a great experience
What entrance do I use? As a first time guest, we would like for you to come in our main entrance, located on the right side drive. Signs will direct you in. Be sure to park in our spots just for guest! Greeters will help you with any questions at all! We also have guests parking and expectant mother parking located on the left side of our building as you come in the left side drive. On this side, you will see a solid set of doors with a small long window in each, that are the first doors you see on that side. These are the closest doors to enter for our babies through two year olds. Please make sure that you come by the welcome center in the foyer!
Where Do My Kids Go? Our nursery is located right outside of our worship center. Our preschoolers will be checked in at the children's desk in the Children's building, where they will have a special worship time together each week. Twice a month, our preschoolers and children through 6th grade will have a children's message in the worship center during the worship service. They will be brought in for the worship time in music and this special children's message and then ushered back over to their own time, while adults stay in the worship center.
What About Security? We take security very seriously. Each child must be registered. All of our security procedures will be explained to you as you register your child on Sunday, either in the nursery or at the children's building. We then explain how we reach you for any need at all, or how you can find your child after the service.
