At Fairview Baptist Church, we cultivate a culture of wanting to:

KNOW GOD. Not just to know who He is, but to have a passion to really know God through a deep, meaningful relationship. We understand that a close, personal relationship with God is the only thing that will ultimately bring us the satisfaction and fulfillment from life that we all want and need.

KNOW THE GOSPEL in all its glory so that it can transform us and others we come in contact with!

KNOW GOD'S WILL for our lives, so we can live the most meaningful, purposeful life that we possibly can.

GROW

Once we become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, we desire to:

GROW IN THE LORD by pursuing Him through the personal disciplines of studying the Bible and speaking with Him in prayer.

GROW TOGETHER in discipleship groups and seek to grow in Christ as a family of believers, learning from capable Bible teachers and discussing real-life applications of biblical principles. As we grow in Christ, we learn to take time and seek opportunities to disciple others.

GROW IN OUR GIFTEDNESS by understanding what gifts we each have been blessed with through the Holy Spirit and how we can best use them to serve Christ within the body of believers at Fairview.

GO

We apply what we know and capitalize on our growth when we:

GO INTO OUR HOMES and "live out" what we know God's will is for us. As adults, we seek to model how to follow Christ to our family and friends. As parents, we seek to model how to follow Christ to our spouse and our children. As children, we seek to model how to follow Christ to our family and our friends.

GO INTO OUR COMMUNITY with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We go into our workplaces, our schools, our neighborhoods. We model how Christ would live and we share the story behind the difference in our lives with others.

GO INTO THE WORLD by taking the gospel message outside our communities into the greater world - our region, our nation, and outside our international borders, to fufill the Great Commission.

Here at Fairview Baptist Church, our purpose is to make disciples who make disciples. In other words, everything we do is focused on connecting students with Christ, building them up in their faith, and sending them out to follow Christ publicly. Our events include opportunities for fun and fellowship while also providing biblically sound teaching that is applicable to all students today. Adult leadership is invested and seriously cares for our students and their families. Our regularly scheduled gatherings are at 6:00pm on Sunday and Wednesday nights, with Sunday school starting at 9:15am on Sunday mornings.
